The Alpha-TAC XT8-M Flash is ExtremeBeam's workhorse 5 mode light. With its unique belt/pocket clip and intensely bright precision-focused soft-edge beam, the XT8-M Flash has quickly become the preferred tool among industrial workers and outdoor enthusiasts. The most compact of ExtremeBeam's full-size lights, the XT8-M Flash retains all of the rugged shock-resistant and Impact-resistant features of its larger relatives. From its Anti-Recoil design to the nearly 4mm thick high density aluminum alloy walls, The XT8-M Flash leaves all competitors in the dust. With 3 brightness modes, a flash mode for signaling and an S.O.S. safety mode for emergency signaling, the XT8-L Flash is a great choice for boaters, fishermen and outdoorsmen. As with all XT8 models, bulbs are entirely interchangeable and many options are available from colored bulbs, to UV and IR. The XT8's precision optical reflector, along with its High-Output LED, provides the XT8 with a uniquely bright beam of light. The XT8 has a range of 200 meters (720 ft.), giving the operator the ability to illuminate objects well beyond the range of traditional flashlights. The run time for the XT8 exceeds 7 hours and gives ample warning when it's time to switch out your batteries or head back to camp. This unit works with non-rechargeable or rechargeable batteries (Rechargeable kits are sold separately).
