This is the French Army M-64 field parka, adopted in 1964.
It's the French version of the popular US M-51 parka, essentially a French mod coat.
It originally came with a removable boa liner, but this listing is for the shell only.
The 100% cotton shell is an item that allows you to enjoy a nice aging effect through long wear and repeated washing.
It's a coat with a wonderful French design and soft material that's very easy to wear. It looks great and stylish even when worn over a suit, just like the mods of the time. Although it doesn't have a liner, you can use it for three seasons: spring, autumn, and winter, by freely combining inner layers.
