Switches and lights can be mounted directly in the top surface simply by determining mounting locations and drilling the correct mounting hole sizes. For a cleaner install, premade switch panels, available separately from Speedway Motors, can be mounted in the console by cutting a clearance hole in the top and screwing or riveting the panel in place. Either way, all wiring is kept neatly tucked away underneath the console for a clean looking installation. Installs Over Most Transmission Tunnels for An Easy to Reach Mounting Solution The console mounts to the driveshaft tunnel of most cars within easy reach of the driver. The angled mounting flanges are easily adjusted to fit the radius of your transmission tunnel for the best fit and location. The included button head hardware and lock nuts ensure the console isn’t going anywhere. Alternatively, you can mount the console with quarter-turn fasteners to easily access the underside for switch replacement or updates. Wiring is kept neat and tidy inside the console itself
