- Finally, a colorful COLD HARDY bamboo! The bamboo is yellow with green stripes but if planted in full sun, when the new canes emerge, they will turn a beautiful magenta / orange. Once the new can has stopped growing in height (about 30 to 40 days) the cane will return to its standard coloring.
- Fully hardy in zones 5 to 11 – one of the most cold hardy bamboos available - Very Cold Hardy Down to -5 Degrees . This bamboo can reach 15 to 25 feet in height and 2 inches in diameter.
- Harbin Inversa readily accepts full sun to partial shade. Watering requirements are moderate after the plant is established. The canes can often have bends near the base, but other than this, it is a very erect and makes an excellent hedge or screen.
- Currently growing in 1 gallon (trade gallon - #1 size) pots and ready to grow quickly in your garden.
