The Angle Grinder features a power switch with both lock-off and lock-on capabilities. The trigger switch requires two actions to start the grinder. The Angle Grinder features soft start, which suppresses start-up reaction for smooth start-ups and longer gear life. It features spiral bevel gears for smoother rotations and a more efficient transfer of energy. The GA9081 features a brush door that provides easy access to brushes for convenient replacement and protects the serial number identification label. It also has a brush spiral spring that allows for a 30% larger brush and increased airflow compared to the previous mode, as well as an aluminum gear housing that provides superior gear alignment and smoother transmission for increased durability.
