L?g Guitars Tramontane Travel KA is a travel-size (short-scale) acoustic guitar with a solid Khaya top, back, sides, and neck. Khaya is a high-quality African Mahogany rich, like all Mahogany, in medium frequencies, but whose specific density gives it an extended frequency response.Brownwood Fingerboard: Brownwood is an alternative species to Rosewood from New Zealand short-cycle pines. Brownwood owes its superior acoustic performance to a specific treatment: it is first dried in order to reduce its humidity level to 10%, then impregnated under high pressure with catalysts and pigmentation agents.It is then dried again to a minimum humidity level (2/3%), before being impregnated under pressure a second time, but this time with resin. 3rd step is compression to reduce its mass and give it a high density.
