The dryangles dryerballs by Mrs Green’s Laundry As well as launching the very first tumble-drying balls in 2004, Mrs Green’s Laundry also manufacture the original dryerballs for a wide variety of companies. Released in 2007 - and boasting European-registered design protection - the dryangles dryerballs are an adaptation of the original model. Natural, Chemical-Free Softening Widely-available fabric conditioners and dryer sheets soften laundry artificially by coating it with toxic, petroleum-based substances and unnatural fragrances. As well as their negative environmental impact, direct contact with these chemicals on a regular basis via the skin is potentially harmful to the body. In contrast, the dryangles dryerballs naturally relax the fibres/break-down the hardness in your clothes, towels and bedding. They are phthalate-free and have been certified non-toxic to EN71 pt 3 standards. How they Work - it’s all About the Combination! Each dryerball has a specific and pre-determined hardness (tensile strength) in order to perform a particular function as your laundry is tumbled. The two balls also have different nodes throughout their exterior surface. The orange ball has triangular tips that compress and soften the fabric. The green ball possesses round nodes that relax the fibres and reduce the stiffness that is created by water. The two work in combination to continually lift and separate the laundry and prevent clinging/bunching, as well as directly transferring heat throughout the cycle. Advanced dryangles Technology The dryangles feature larger nodes than standard tumble-drying balls. This design creates a greater total surface area and enables up to 50% more contact with fabrics.
