The OEM plastic housing is molded too thin in many areas leading to premature failure, and over time becomes brittle with repeated exposure to high heat. The Sólido Frio is cast from far more stable and strong aluminum! These housings also can be polished, painted, powder coated or welded too. Designed for engines that use a cylinder head temp sensor - this kit INCLUDES a 3/8" NPT style Coolant Temp Sensor. Has additional 1/8" NPT port for aftermarket coolant temp sensor, and an aluminum hex plug if you aren't it now. Supplied with all stainless steel socket head cap screw mounting hardware, SuperStat thermostat, thermostat seal, Head flange O Ring.
