I’m a program director, community leader, and mentor with over 15 years of experience supporting individuals impacted by the criminal justice system. I currently lead Prosper, a trauma-informed, intensive case management program for young people with firearm-related charges in Toronto. I specialize in employment strategy, strategic partnership development, and building programs rooted in care and dignity. My mentorship work focuses on guiding students, new graduates, frontline workers, and emerging leaders as they navigate careers in social justice, nonprofit, and community development fields. I’ve mentored hundreds of individuals—helping them clarify their goals, improve their confidence, and build meaningful careers that align with their values. I support mentees with practical tools such as resume building, job interview preparation, professional storytelling, and identifying career pathways in youth work, policy, and program delivery. As a mentor, I offer insight into what it means to do purpose-driven work in complex systems—from working with government funders and parole officers to building relationships with folks navigating multiple barriers. I help mentees name their gifts, take bold steps, and build careers that are both impactful and sustainable. Whether someone is stepping into their first role or transitioning into leadership, I provide a steady, real-world approach that’s grounded in possibility.
