I am a geologist with a strong foundation in Earth Sciences and Mathematics, and over the years, I have gained extensive mining industry experience in mineral exploration geology, data management, and geotechnical/geological analysis. Currently, I work as a Database Manager at a junior gold exploration company, where I oversee exploration databases and resource modeling. My career spans both field operations and office work, focusing on geological logging, managing drilling programs, and data management and compilation for geological research, utilizing various geological and GIS software. Mentorship has always been a key focus of mine throughout my career. I believe in empowering junior geologists, technicians, and contractors by sharing knowledge, offering guidance, and fostering an environment where continuous learning thrives. I take pride in mentoring teams, ensuring they have the resources and support necessary to succeed in mineral exploration and mining. I also place significant emphasis on developing skills beyond the technical side, such as critical thinking, communication, and collaboration. In each of my roles, I’ve worked to cultivate a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere. My mentorship has helped individuals grow in their careers and contribute meaningfully to the success of the organization.
