Overview
I am a youth-engagement strategist, and senior HR professional with 10+ years across health care and social services. I’ve worked with organizations on talent acquisition, workforce development, and strategic HR; working in both frontline staffing and back-office operations, so I understand the sector’s real workforce needs. I also helped set up Independent Living Canada’s Youth Advisory Council, turning lived experience into policy input, peer support, and practical action. Through workshops, peer circles, and coaching, I equip youth to organize, speak up, and steward initiatives in disability advocacy, accessible events, and community wellbeing. My sweet spot is mentorship. I guide mentees to choose the right job titles, identify high-probability employers, prepare standout applications and interviews, and leverage sector-specific networking that leads to offers. With a background in Nursing and Mental Health, I’m a PMP-certified project manager, change-management practitioner, and Fellow of the Institute of Leadership (UK). My approach is pragmatic and hopeful: turn stories into solutions and roadmaps that move ideas to impact.
